EAST BRADFORD CHURCHES TOGETHER (EBCT),  AND INTER-FAITH MEETINGS

Father, may they all be One’.

The parish of St Mary is part of two ecumenical groups.

Bradford Moor, Laisterdyke and Thornbury comprises ‘East Bradford Churches Together’ which has 8 churches, made up of Catholic, Anglican, Methodist/ Baptist congregations and the Salvation Army. We meet together each month for shared prayer, on the Second Sunday of each month at 7.00pm.

A small group of Christians in this same area also meet 3-4 times a year with their Muslim, Sikh and Hindu neighbours – to visit each other’s places of worship, to discuss issues of common concern, to eat together, and to share the scriptures together. If you would like to know more please contact the Parish Office or John Joyce.
